Woman of the Week (WOW): Ucheonye Maple

These women, through their work and services are making a positive impact to our younger generation and touching lives in many positive ways. This week, we shine the WOW spotlight on Ucheonye Maple as the AWEP Woman of the Week (WOW).
Ucheonye Maple is a recognized Systems Engineering leader with a proven track record of empowering and motivating STEM professionals. She is a professional speaker, coach and mentor in the STEM community. Ucheonye is founder of Aghaeze-Maple Enterprises LLC, a career development and training company for STEM professionals. Her mission is to help professionals achieve their career goals, cultivate leadership skills, expand their brand and networking capabilities. She consults with STEM professionals ready to secure a seat at their company’s leadership table and to become an impactful, results driven leader within their organization. She is currently a Systems Engineering Manager at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab.
Ucheonye received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University, MBA from University of Phoenix and her M.S. in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. She is also a graduate from the Leadership Essentials Program at Loyola University.
